Frequently asked questions:
What materials do you combine with Solid Surface?
Solid Surface works excellently with many materials, allowing us to create cohesive and functional solutions tailored to the character of the project. Most often we combine it with: natural wood and veneer, HPL and laminated boards, stainless steel and aluminum, glass and mirrors, lacquered elements, LED lighting and metal structures.
We always select materials to match the product’s function, technical requirements and the project’s aesthetics. This results in durable and modern implementations that meet the expectations of architects, investors and users.
Is Solid Surface suitable for intensive use?
Yes. Solid Surface is a material designed for places that are heavily used every day. Thanks to its durability, seamless surface and ability to be refurbished, it performs excellently in public, medical, hotel and commercial spaces. Key advantages: high resistance to everyday use, a seamless surface that limits dirt buildup, easy cleaning and a high level of hygiene, the ability to repair and renew the surface even after many years of use, and resistance to moisture and most agents used for daily care.
That’s why for over 20 years we have been delivering Solid Surface projects for hospitals, hotels, museums, offices, shopping centers and rail vehicles, where durability and reliability of the material are crucial.
What is the lead time?
Lead time depends on the project scope, its complexity and the size of the order. We price and plan each project individually, so we can propose a realistic schedule tailored to the investment’s needs.
After reviewing the documentation or concept, we prepare a detailed offer along with an estimated completion date. For larger projects, we can also split production into stages to align with the construction or finishing schedule.
We ensure on-time delivery of every project, whether it’s a single furnishing element or a comprehensive fit-out for a large investment.
Can the built-ins be backlit with LED?
Yes. We design and produce a variety of solutions integrated with LED lighting, tailored to the nature of the project and the desired visual effect.
We offer, among others: lighting for plinths and niches; milled or applied illuminated patterns and lettering; illuminated logos and visual identification elements; decorative light lines integrated with furniture and wall cladding; and backlighting of entire surfaces made of semi-transparent Solid Surface material, allowing the effect of evenly glowing countertops, walls or counters. We design each solution individually, selecting the lighting technology to match the function, aesthetics and requirements of a given project.
